replaceInsertTags doesn't seem to work in TypoLight 2.6

Sounds like the Controller has not been updated. Definitely need more information.

The problem is the usage of preg_split in function Controller.replaceInsertTags().
After splitting - pairs like [text_before,insert_tag] are expected which is not the case when the text starts by an insert-tag or two insert-tags are used without a separating character.

It seems that your custom PHP script breaks the "for" loop of the controller.

<?php
// Inside function replaceInsertTags()
for($i=0; $i<count($tags); $i=$i+2)
{
    // Replace insert tags here
}
?>

Now, if your PHP code uses a "for" loop with $i as well, it breaks the outer loop of course.

Quick fix: choose another variable in your PHP script (e.g $j).
Core fix: do not use $i in the controller loop.
