vfs exploit caused bootloop on iPhone SE

I used the binary provided on your web site. The phone restarted well after the first run of Electra app but after the second run the phone couldn't boot (display apple for 9sec and reboot).
My phone was also ready to install 11.4 but but your warning regarding this was only for tvOS.

Never mind, my phone is recovered... but on 11.4

i accidently removed a cydia file not meaning to and cydia is totally gone and that when i try to rejailbreak shows jailbroken but i can't get cydia back ........im on iOS 11.3.1 on iPhone x please assist and i am on a mac..... i have looked around sites nothing seems to work, i wish coolstar would release semi-restore on the semi-restore website lol.......

iPhone 7P 11.4.1 Can not boot to iOS

I tried to jailbreak on an iPhone7P with Electra 1.3.2 ,but after the 3 steps in the app ,the phone could not boot successfully and restart when the apple logo appears about 7 seconds.
I already have the tvOS profile installed.
Is there any solution besides recovering through the iTunes?

-According to CrashReporter- Springboard crashes even when NO TWEAKS INSTALLED(Except the ones came with electra itself).Using an A9(6s) device.So i think Substrate/Substitute/Tweak Injector causes this.And i’m not the only one(i’ve met with 4 people that have this problem)

iPad Air 2: Consistent Device Freezing/Reboot with device usage

Device tested: iPad Air 2
Conditions: Jailbroken with latest Electra on iOS 11.3.1. posix_spawn payload enabled, but /usr/lib/TweakInject is emptied. Substitute and TweakInjector are both updated.

Steps to trigger bug (maybe possible to trigger via other methods too, but this is the only one I found that can be done immediately):

1. Open Safari
2. Navigate to https://mobile.twitter.com
3. Login
4. On the homepage start zooming in and out. Zooming amounts must be big and between each zoom-out and zoom-in a short pause of about (less than) a second has to be made.
5. Keep repeating step 4 a few times

Observed behavior: After a few times Safari freezes completely, SpringBoard still works but apps don't launch anymore, they hang as soon as you do it. A few seconds later the whole device is unusable. Assistive Touch is the only thing that works but usually slow and unresponsive. The only possible solutions are:

1. ldrestart (if SSH still happens to work...)
2. Hard reset
3. Wait until it panics

Expected behavior: The Twitter page has a somewhat feature that if the screen resolution changes, it immediately adapts, without having to reload the page. Doing a zoom in or out triggers that mechanism sometimes (if you wait enough after zooming out) and doing it a lot of times overloads memory and causes WebKit to crash. If you do the steps in a non-jailbroken state you'll get notified that WebKit crashed and the page will reload.

By no means this is the only way to trigger it, it has happened me a lot of times randomly, while browsing internet, while watching youtube, while closing apps etc. The freezing has the exact same characteristics, which makes me believe it's all related. The tests were performed by multiple people after I sent instructions and most of them said they got a freeze the first time they tried.

If needed I can provide a video showing how I get it to trigger with no tweaks

Rejailbreaking with Electra ends up in respringloop new TweakInjector update

I'm on iOS 11.2.1 Electra(latest) using both Sileo and Cydia. iPhone 7

So like 10-14 days ago there was like 20 updates on Cydia (some electra packages) I ended up updating all of them and everything seemed to be fine, however my phone randomly restarted after few days (never happened before and I'm a heavey jb user) so when I tried to rejailbreak using latest electra it got me into a respring loop. ONLY solutions is to disable all tweaks with iCleaner and then rejailbreak and then turn on all tweaks on iCleaner.

I bet it has to do with TweakInjector or something. Is it possible to contact coolstar? I've seen other have this issues lately too. I've never had any issues with electra until now with the rejailbreak shit. And sometimes my phone reboots too.. Haven't changed or installed new tweaks after updating these 20 packages so I don't think it has to do with any of my tweaks to do. Thanks

Appa keep crashing a couple of times a day

Hey Coolstar, i’ve got my 7 plus jailbroken, im on 11.3.1, my iphone keeps crashing all apps a couple of times a day, and i keep re-jailbreaking my iphone almost 3-4 times a day, i downloaded crashreporter, all of the crashes have the same causes, and i dont know how to handle this:

debugserver failed to create socket

Hi there,

I followed here on iOS <11.2 and Electra 1.0.4 (old one) to launch debugserver.
Steps:
1 create two proxies

$ iproxy 6666 6666 &
$ iproxy 2222 22 &

2 ssh into device, run jailbreakd_client and launch the debugserver. For example, to debug AppStore app:

$ /electra/jailbreakd_client <the appstore pid> 1
$ /Developer/usr/bin/debugserver localhost:6666 -a <the appstore pid>

3 launch LLDB and attach to it. Everything works fine.

However, on Electra 1131, with same steps, I got several error message, something like

Awesome work!

I've compiled and attempted testing on the following:

• iPhone X running 15F5061e (11.4 beta 3) as I see the code supports this
• Airplane mode enabled (wifi also disabled)
• Siri disabled
• 11.4.1 update removed
• Rebooted
• Electra app compiled from source with Multipath-enabled App ID/provisioning profile

It continuously produces "Error: exploit". I can provide syslog if necessary. Any suggestions or ways I can help troubleshoot or improve?

I am seeing errors like:

This daemon constantly crashes, as many as 25+ times per day in my case and causes my iPhone X running on iOS 11.3.1 to freeze and then crash back to default state 30 or so seconds later.

Not able to run Electra on my iPad Mini 2 IOS 11.3.1 (Freshly Restored)

Hi, I upgrade with my blobs my iPad Mini 2 from 11.1.2 (Jailbroken) to 11.3.1 with future restore, etc. NB 11.3.1 was not signed anymore. I used SEP and BuildManifest from 11.4. After the iPad was at 11.3.1, I restored my stuff through iTunes, then tried to Jailbreak with Electra. The problem is Electra reboot all the time the iPad during step 1/3. I tried:

• Turn on Airplane mode;
• Deactivated the WiFi;
• Tried Electra multipath and vfs exploit (1.0.3;
• Installed Electra with Cydia Impactor 0.9.44

Always the same problem, not able to pass the step 1/3 without crashing and rebooting

Someone has an idea?
