Come up with some interface for registering plugins

A plugin or task should follow a basic pattern:

• A can_do method that checks if a message received by the bot is relevant to that task. Returns bool.
• A do method that takes some number of variables. Returns string.

Registering a plugin with the main bot object can probably be as easy as a register method on the main object that consumes a Plugin object and adds it to an internal list of Plugins.

Build method to connect to IRC server

It might take a little IRC spec reading, but I think the main way to connect to an IRC server is to open a socket to it (BadSocket), and send NICK and USER messages. After that, send out a JOIN message. There'll probably need to be a read somewhere in there to respond to a PING message.

Once the main connection is setup the program can just fall into a read loop until the connection is closed.

Come up with some config file

The config file can have

• host/port
• nick
• other nicks to treat as bot operators
• whitelisted plugin names

It can probably be some YAML or JSON thing.
