Retropie realistic arcade overlays pack

Overlays (or bezels) are images added "above" the emulator, to mask the black borders around the image.

This pack adds realistic overlays for arcade games.

Usage of the pack in a commercial product is strictly forbidden.

Realistic overlays (935 games)

Compilation of "realistic looking" arcade overlays.

It makes your TV look like you're in front of an arcade cabinet. They have screen glare and scratches included in the overlay, and are configured to run with a scanline + curvature shader (zfast_crt_curve).

If you want the same without the screen glare and scratches, check out OrionsAngel's packs, he often includes the versions without screen.

Installation

Use the Retropie Arcade Manager tool to install these overlays.

Create script to generate pixel-perfect rom configs

Copy "pixel perfect" rom configs from BatBad generic overlays, based on resolution found in csv/dat files.

Fix script improvements

• check positions: check width/height is not more than 1080p ; check position is not more than ??? (depends on orientation)
• check config paths exist

games are not scaled down so large areas of the screen are obfuscated

is there a way to scale the emulation to fit these overlays, as a lot of my screen is being covered by the overlay image, or is this a bug? thanks!
