demand degradation

Demand doesn't fail if there's not enough bandwidth to provide full capacity. Would like to see this recorded as a failure or degradation, maybe this could be selectable behaviour.

Make model information exportable

Make model information, network links and network demand exportable.

requirements.txt

Is there a requirements.txt for this? running into issues figuring out which package is required.

Group behaviour

provide a dedicated group view.
->Add nodes to group
->right click , show group topology

--> bring up a new scene with only the nodes and links that are part of the group while keeping the model intact so demands are still reflected thru the selected nodes

deactivate demands

allow deactivation of demands.

Visibility enhancement - group attribute

Provide the ability to tag a node and the corresponding links to a group. Provide the ability to display selected groups and hide the unselected nodes.

Change default bandwidth for interface creation

If an existing link is in place between two nodes then match the bandwidth when adding a second link.

delete demands

Would like to be able to delete or modify demands in the network demand tab.

demand import behaviour

when loading a new demand allow option to add to existing ones or overwrite

[Feature] Netbox REST API integration

Hello,
It will be very convenient if this tool able to read topology from Netbox REST API interface with ability to filter, like load devices with for example tag 'simulate' or 'visualize'.

Thanks for this project, it looks very promising!

Change default setting in static demand to additive

If not demand is currently in place changing the current default has no impact. Changing the default to additive would remove the risk of overwriting a freshly imported demand by mistake.

visual cue for loaded topology filename

Would be good to see the filename displayed of the topology and demand files act as reminder.

node label don't allow duplicates

don't allow duplicate node label on import or on node creation

When changing the name of a router it would be great if all the text was selected in order to one stroke delete the text to type the required name.

update peer link on metric change

when the user updates the link metric or capacity allow flag to update the peer link with the same info. Make this as default with option to disable via a toggle.

lnetd_qt fails with python 3.10 or above

error when trying to create a link btw two nodes and/or import topology

select link behaviour

Would like a visual cue when selecting a link, maybe the line being thicker.

Increase demands combined

add a flag to increase all demands with x%

allow interface edit within links table

as the selection point is sometimes not in view (ie: when grouped and hide) allow edit of interface metric/bw/latency from within the table
