React with NodeJs

A repository made for Flexy (https://flexy01.herokuapp.com/).

Prerequisites :

• Node.js should be installed. (Version >=16.x.x)

  • Link : Download | Node.js (nodejs.org)

• An IDE (e.g VSCode, Atom etc)

  • VScode (Recommended): Visual Studio Code - Code Editing. Redefined
  • Atom: Atom
  • Eclipse: Eclipse Downloads | The Eclipse Foundation

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

• Extract the downloaded .zip folder.
• Open the folder and rename it to your liking.
• Now open the folder and run the command npm install .
• Now, navigate into the folder named by using cd client.
• Run the command npm install to install the dependencies for the frontend.
• Switch to root directory of starterKit by giving command cd..
• After all the dependencies are installed run npm run dev.
• This will run the local server and you will be able to use all the React and Node.js goodness.
