Halo HUD

Halo HUD is a Minecraft mod for the Fabric launcher adding a small halo style indicator around the crosshair, showing player health and hunger.

This allows players to quickly see the state of their character without looking down at the HUD, particularly on large monitors.

Tool-oriented option

Have you also considered adding an option to make the mod more tool-oriented, instead of player-oriented? Meaning, it would display instead:

• The state of breaking a block
• The durability of the held tool or two
• The damage indicator
• The amount of arrows the player has when holding a bow
• Related effects, including strength, weakness, haste, mining fatigue
• Other similar things

Add antialiasing for drawn bars

Currently, bars have harsh pixels which contrast with the bars' smooth curves. Antialiasing can likely be implemented by using transparent vertex colors on the edges, which will be interpolated and create an antialiasing effect: https://blog.mapbox.com/drawing-antialiased-lines-with-opengl-8766f34192dc

Embed YetAnotherConfigLib

Would you mind embedding YetAnotherConfigLib (as-in jar-in-jar) so that the mod is self contained?

`halohud-4.3+1.21-neoforge` two problems

The Fabric version of the Halo HUD and other dependencies look to be working fine.

Dependencies installed, but still says not installed

In a 1.21 NeoForge instance, when launching the game after installing Halo HUD and YACL, the game displays an error. :(

Preview

I noticed that the missing dependencies for the game prompts were different than for YACL itself.

The current modId used by the new YACL is yet_another_config_lib_v3 instead of yet_another_config_lib.

The game crashes

I tried manually modifying the neoforge.mods.toml file inside the Halo HUD jar file.

I thought I could enter the game without any problems, but it still does not work. It seems there is another problem.

i installed it to use with hypixel's skyblock and due to various changes they do (no durability, no food) it wasn't entirely clear to me which parts of the ui i can disable without information loss

mod settings button is no longer displayed

the mod settings button is no longer displayed in the mod menu, and also for some reason, the HUD itself is periodically cut off

Outline for the halo HUD

Option to make it so that you can have a black outline on the halo HUD to make it easier to see.

Saturation indicator for the food bar

Full saturation can be very strong because it heals you by a large amount. Would be a nice addition to the food bar to make the food bar more useful.

Add an option to always display some elements

I would like to always see my health or hunger even if it's full. For now I believe there are no solutions

the config allows adding more than 5 segments, even if they never get rendered

Off-center (or not aligned to crosshair?)

When I use any GUI scale lower than 6 or Auto (on a 1440p display), the Halo HUD isn't aligned with the crosshair:

I was looking for the source code for the v2 but it appears it never made it to this github?
