Crisis Cleanup

Crisis Cleanup is a collaboration platform that connects disaster recovery organization volunteers with people who need help after a disaster. The Crisis Cleanup platform has been used to connected 631,620 volunteers from 1,704 organizations with 80,905 households in 48 states/provinces and 143 disasters in 7 countries; a new disaster every two weeks.

Crisis Cleanup works best in a collaborative environment where multiple voluntary organizations and agencies work together and coordinate efforts. Because these organizations do not take orders from one another, Crisis Cleanup is designed to facilitate Collaborative Accountability models of inter-agency interaction, rather than command-and-control operations, or or heirarchical accountability models of interaction.

This is the repository for the main Crisis Cleanup web application, a collaborative map-based coordination tool. This implementation is built with Ruby on Rails, a PostgreSQL database and run on the Heroku stack. A newer version of Crisis Cleanup is under development, written in Python and Vue.js, located at: https://github.com/CrisisCleanup/crisiscleanup-web

Add Arabic and Kurdish to Phone System

Braden, we need to allow users to select Arabic and Kurdish phone calls.
Add Arabic and Kurdish to https://www.crisiscleanup.org/profile, https://www.crisiscleanup.org/phone (edit) (..phone\CallerIDEditCard.vue), and prioritize routing calls to Arabic and Kurdish speakers just like we do for Spanish.

Call goes to volunteer Voice Mail

On rare occasion, a call will need ring the person, but instead go right to the users voice mail.

Not sure how to re-create, but can we find out?

dont show callbacks taht you cant have..

lets never show a callback in the callback queue that a user cant get... ie.. it is locked to someone else or whatever.. that way people dont get mad taht the 2 remaining callback never serve up to them.. if there is a number int eh callback box.. its gonna come to them. you know what I mean.

1234567890. and related caller ID issues

Some users experience issues where the caller id will either show the default 1234567890 number OR the previous number or a wrong number to the user. This OFTEN but not always results in the system just sitting there forever in a hung state.. you have to kill the browser to start over.. but unsuccessful call.

There are several people who have done al the right things we recommend to connect to AWS and still are not able to get connected.
