dotfiles's Issues

Use `os#homedir` instead of hardcoding paths in `makeBookmarksMenu`

let gitFolder = "F:\\User Files\\My Documents\\Git"

Hey Ryan, instead of hard coding your paths for different machines, you can use:

import { homedir } from "os";
const homeDirectory = homedir();
const gitProjects = join([homeDirectory], "Documents\\Git");

...and I think it will work across your different machines as long as you use the same folder structure. I don't have a windows box to test it on, but it works on my mac. Cheers!

Generalise config files

Currently, all of these config files are for my Linux files, I should look into bringing my other editor and non-editor config files into some form of version control.

I dont quite understand the windows set up

im trying to get oni setup and I cant seem to get things going and i dont really understand the windows set up with allowing the "git folder" to handle the config with the link, any way you could elaborate?
