How to install

Hi, i am trying to install/run this but i am unable to. When i execute bin/getConfig in the terminal it says "-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `bin/getConfig" . I am a newbie so it may be something simple i am doing but i am not sure how to make this work correctly. It says in the README section that the bin/ file includes getConfig and Event-Feed-Aggregator files but they dont appear to be in the bin/ file so maybe i am missing something.
