WiiVC Banner/Icon/Sound (BIS)

This project started as a small request and template sharing thread over gbatemp, it eventually grow into a big project which goal is set a standart for Wii U injection, now it adds practically all injectable console templates.

Banner/icon creation guidelines:

The template is pretty self-explanatory, you will need Rodin NTLG Pro bold and regular fonts.
Title screens resizing should use bicubic interpolation.

This repo includes:

A collection of Wii banners (.bnr)
A collection of WiiWare banners (.bnr)
A collection of injected VC banners (GCN, NDS, N64, etc.)

Fonts missing for PSD templates

Can you please provide the fonts used in the templates?

Add doubutsu no mori e+ gcn banner GAEJ released 2003

I'm planning to inject a Japanese gamecube game and I would like the banner on there please it's a Japanese exclusive animal crossing

Add custom Wii title "Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii" images.

add the rest of the NDS Ace Attorney lineup

Ace Attorney 1 (AGYE), 2 (Justice For All, A2GE), and 3 (Trials and Tribulations, YG3E) are all on the repo here, but Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (AGCE), Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth (C32E), and the Japan-only (however it received an English fan translation) Ace Attorney Investigations 2 (Gyakuten Kenji 2, BXOJ) are missing.

all three work perfectly according to the GBAtemp compatibility list, with the exception of Investigations 2 (BXOJ), which has broken microphone support thus stopping the player in case 5. but considering it's only done once, i've seen multiple people including myself just play past that part on a different emulator to then resume playing back on Wii U, but i understand if that still won't be added due to this. i don't know the rules when it comes to what games get added here.

i was able to get pretty far in making my own, but i can't recreate the bevel effect on the words, so it's not great. here i've included my own ones for Investigations 2 (BXOJ), but again, it's not the same as the official ones currently in the repo. and i also excluded the "Miles Edgeworth" portion of the title because it made it too long.

edit: actually i went ahead and did the other two. but again, it doesn't have the bevel on the text. i'm just adding them in case it helps anyone in any way.

VCiicon

I made a tool called "VCiicon" a long time ago and the goal was to make a bash script and have the banner text whited out. Not everything was whited out (and I couldn't find a picture of the consoles Nintendo used for the banner so I could recreate it). The DS one was recreated though.

Anyway, just thought you wanted to check it out. The project ended up being a failure because people started using their own art as the banner, and it annoyed me. This is off-topic, but I was also annoyed when I was trying to get eShop covers at GameTDB. People were making bad Wii U covers with different templates and stretched the covers out to a canvas, and it looked so bad and people were loving it. The way injects and covers were done for Wii was pretty good, but Wii U not so much.

It should be in wii instead. WiiVC Injector cant locate it

NES VC Banner Template has Released: and Players: 1 hard embedded ;)

I do not have the original file so I cannot remove it, maybe you still can?

(trust me, I have tried disabling layers, other consoles seem fine)

wii sports + wii sports resort

i noticed that there is wii sports, i don't know about wii sports resort as of 3/22/2021, but there isn't wii sports + wii sports resort. the id is SP2E01 if that is important.
