Hi, I am Cunliang Geng

Currently, I work at the Netherlands eScience Center, where I collaborate with scientists from universities and research institutes in the Netherlands, coding for open-source scientific projects in the life sciences and healthcare.

I am a research software engineer with a background in bioinformatics and computational biology. My passion lies in software engineering and machine learning, and I love applying them to solve scientific challenges.

• Vantage6, a privacy preserving federated learning infrastructure for secure insight exchange.
• NPLinker, a python framework for integrating multi-omics data to discover new microbial natural products.
• STRAP, a microservice and tools to transform proprietary healthcare data into the standard FHIR format to facilitate self tracking for prevention and diagnosis of heart disease.
