Adds the possibility for certain groups to allow users to become member themselves.

Overview

• Admin can manage groups permissions to allow users to become member themselves
• The groups directory page is replaced by the one of this module which adds a button for authorized groups allowing a user to become member himself
• User can remove his membership himself to a group, except if member of only one group

How to use and configuration

To allow users to become member of a group themselves, go to "Administration" -> "Users" -> "Groups" -> Menu of the group -> "Permissions"

Exclude Admin group

From testing this module, it allows users to not only add themselves to any group that is listed, but also allows users to add themselves to the admin group as well, this shouldn't be possible and could cause issues if you have this group displayed on the directory

Idea: description text specification

Hello! The description of this module, has me wondering what the module actually does. The reason for this, is I assume groups are to begin with all about people being able to join 'themselves'. Because I am new to HumHub, someone like me could be helped to comprehend what the module does, if a sentence is included about how HumHub groups work without this module. Thanks

group membership

I have added the mod, and in permission of i set so members can join or leave themselves, but when go to the created group there is no button to join the group,,it has the invite button, but non to actually join? should I uninstall the group mod and re install or is there something I'm missing, there is no configure button in the mod section for this mod, just setting, permissions , deactivate and uninstall in the dropdown? hope it isnt an issue just something simple... and another question,, where would a member find a place to start their own groups if any, cant find anywhere, or can only admin start groups, be nice if members could start own groups for others to join...thanks in advance..
