Put PDFs of schematics and board layouts somewhere in repo

Its very hard for the majority of people to manipulate Altium files because they are an extremely closed company -- even the viewer requires account access etc. Altium has great capabilities for outputting schematics and images of board layout as PDFs. I suggest that these be added to repos that have PCB design docs like these.

Gerbers are a good start, but some people won't even know what those are or how to view them. Standard PDFs, preferably right at the top of the file PCB file structure would be great.

Board thickness specification

Does the image sensor PCB have to be a particular thickness? I could not find this spec on the .docx file with assembly info.
