DBJMIN enhancements to connect to Ingres database.

Hi,

I would like to see this tool work with Ingres. Please see the request:

I have made simple code changes to db2jmin.pojo.data.min.DBconnect.java and
db2jmin.pojo.swing.SwingUtils.java, rebuilt the db2jmin.pojo.jar, and
tested with Ingres. These changes work fine with Ingres.

I believe my code changes need to be committed and db2min.pojo.jar needs to
be rebuilt. The Ingres JDBC driver, iijdbc.jar
(http://esd.ingres.com/product/Community_Projects/Drivers/java/JDBC) needs
to be extracted from iijdbc-9.2-v3.4.8.zip archive and placed in the lib
directory of this utility along with JDBC drivers for other databases.

I wonder if my changes to the utility will be added and a new version of
this utility can be made available in the next release? This will help the
Ingres users wanting to use this utility.

WINDOWS| InetAddress.isReachable(3000) return false when database is up

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Try to connecting to an Oracle 10g (VPN Database/Firewall) through DBJMIN 
RC05 - dbjmin-win.zip.

2. Try to ping the database server. (WINDOWS)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Database is *UP* but not connect.
Ping return timeout.
