landlord's Issues

Economic and testing support

Hi! Your project is very interesting. If necessary, to support your effort, I can make a donation. What I need is essentially to control the landroid M500 (wr141e) with a remote (like a controller on a wifi connected pc or a rf-remote for drone). Is your project ready for this (I can modify the code if necessary)? I can also help with the code... I wait a response to understand if the project is still alive... Bye

Charger and battery path

You resources helped me a lot to repair my mower with burned charger and Motor Driver stage.
I reversed engineered and drawed the charging circuit to find the faults . maybe it will help. Its not complete accurate with some "??"

Hall Sensors

Hi!

I know it is a bit off-topic, but I am repairing an old Landroid WG794 and I found out that one of the Hall sensors on the lift sensor board is broken. This guy is in TO-92 enclosure and no part id is given. These boards are super difficult to get except Germany/Benelux but they do not ship to Scandinavia, where I live. Hall sensors are, on the other hand, rather easy to get. My question is whether you have figured out if these are binary NO/NC or linear-response Hall sensors? I thought of asking here before I take out oscilloscope and start testing. TIA. Martin

Access matrix keypad?

Hi,

I'd like to wire an Arduino into my Landroid and simulate keypad input. I see you'e spent a considerable amount of time 'reverse engineering' the Landroid. Would you happen to know the easiest way to access the keypad via an Arduino?

Many thanks in advance.

Idea & Status

Hi

What is the status of the project?

And i have a L2000 almost fully decked, i have the ultrasonic detector and gsm/gps module as my wifi do not reach all of our 2100sqr mtr ground, but it got me thinking, could the gps along with the wire not be good enough? ie do we really need RTK when we have wire and gps?

and just to throw an extra good idea, could an editable map not be possible so we can edit the map with precise messurements ? add tables etc so that we dont have to walk and babysit the mover so much?

another idea.. if it by some mistake gets over the wire why not use the gps to tell it what way to go to get inside again?
i have a strip of the ground where some invasive kind of rose used to grow so it can get over but not past the fence, it will take at least 4 years before the roses die out and it makes sense to do much other than use a old fanished rake to slowly level it out

OpenMower

This project looks very promising! Hope you have time to answer a few question :-)

  1. Is this firmware supposed to run on an Arduino, or is the idea to create a custom firmware for the Landroid?
  2. Since I own a Landroid 500M+ would this firmware (with minor changes) be usable?
  3. If you create a custom rom, could it be flashed the same way as the current firmware updates?
  4. OpenMower needs GPS, how would you add that? Using the find my Landroid? or is that GPS not accurate enough? (of coarse only if you do not use an Arduino)...
  5. If it's only c++ development I would be interested to see if I could help. How much work needs to be done in order to get the thing running?

Looking forward to your reply.

Cheers!
