spotivy's Issues

GoodMusicVideoContent criteria

the criterion you use to consider a music video good is somehow weak. I suggest that you warn the users in the documentation that there is no certainty that the correct song will be download. What do you think?

function isGoodMusicVideoContent(videoSearchResultItem) {

Error: connect ETIMEDOUT

Wrong codec when download MP3

When use a audio download (.mp3), music is downloaded correctly but don`t play at all players.
I suposed this is problem with codec used (but I don't investigated this).

I do workaround this, using the https://cloudconvert.com/ to convert mp3 to mp3(but at configuration I set Audio Codec to mp3).

Can you take a look at this please?

[Download failed] Not Found

Hello, I've just installed everything, updated all git dependencies
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC

spotivy appears to be working, (configured YouTube API + Spotify App Client ID + Secret)
but, I can't download any video....

if I try: spotivy track 3SCsueX2bZdbEzRtKOCEyT
I get: [Download failed] Not Found

if I try: spotivy playlist wernerml 6ehHwU2hpFIqzsrdDokJKv (which is a a playlist with 2 videos, 1 of them being the same 3SCsueX2bZdbEzRtKOCEyT as in command above)
I get:

   [Downloading playlist] Vacines
[Download failed] Cannot read properties of null (reading 'id')
[Download failed] Cannot read properties of null (reading 'id')

(which seems to be 2 error messages for the 2 videos of the playlist....

is this project outdated ? working ?
Thank you!

App crashes if video was not found on YouTube

If a video is not found on youtube, I would await to skip this one and go to the next, but it throws an error and quits. I don't know if this is intended or just a bug.

Problem to download single track command

I've just installed for the first time and run the command to download a single track and got bellow error:
image

[WIP] I'm already trying to debug the code and fix this but I've decided to open the issue to know if anyone else had the same error !
At the moment, looks like it is something related to the creation of .downloaded metadata file.
It´s created only on download playlist command and not on single file command. So, metadata is undefined at line of error when trying to access ids property

Spotivy constantly returns "Status Code: 403"

Hi! I was trying to download a playlist today and I got the error "Error: Status code: 403".
I made sure to run spotivy init and input my credentials (which are freshly generated).
I even generated new ones after that, and those didn't work either.
I really don't know what to do.
