My main portfolio website. I've decided to show its source code to all, so you can easily use it for your needs.

Description:

There is a web-developer portfolio that I build for myself. You can use it as an example or as a base for your portfolio :)

Any person can download this and restyle it as he wish. If I'll help to somebody with it, please, star the github repo.

Implementation notes:

I build the project with Gulp. As CSS framework I chose Bootstrap and language - SCSS.

To start building, just run gulp command in the terminal. Ready-to-use build you'll find in the "/dist/" folder - all you need to upload to your PHP hosting.

Main:

• bootstrap (CSS framework)
• fontawesome (Icons)
• jquery (Use only to animate scroll - can be removed)
• isotope-layout (Filters for projects)
  • imagesloaded (Need to update layout after images will be loaded)

Additinal:

• animate.css (Animation effects)
• magnific-popup (Popup on click to project)
• mmenu-light (Mobile menu)
• particles.js (Particles at the header)
• waypoints (Animations on page scroll)
• smooth-scroll

portfolio's Issues

Update README

I should update README.md file and points important things about the portfolio, terms of usage etc.

Update content on the page

This content must be up-to-date.

• Experience
• Knowledge
• Projects

Also, remove section "Biography" - it is not very interesting for reading.
Maybe, I should create a popup with this information?

Add a correct CV

Current CV is not relevant

CV should be in the .pdf or Google Doc format.

1. Create PDF or Google Doc CV
2. Add to project
3. Update this on the hosting

Portfolio author's name should be SVG and animated

Animation: stroke width and dashoffset

Update design

Main:

• Add animation effects on scroll
• Add animation effect after page load

Navigation:

• Update hover
• Update logo (create from SVG)
• Add main big icon

Project cards:

• Add tags

There are too many works for mobile users

If I am a mobile user, I'll see a lot of works.
This is not user-friendly behavior, because user have to scroll too much.

I should display about 3-4 works and a button to show more of them.

Security update

Sometimes spam bots attacks a site.
So it is important to improve site defensivness.

• Attach a ReCaptcha V2 invisible to the form.
• Test submission on Live mode

Replace Fontawesome.css with Fontawesome scss
