ERROR during authentication * BYE Connection is closed. 13

./Get-IMAPAccessToken.ps1 -tenantID "" -clientId "" -clientsecret '' -targetMailbox "" -Verbose

always report ERROR during authentication * BYE Connection is closed. 13 when executing command A01 AUTHENTICATE ...

even if the command is correct.

PowerShell 7.2.5 on Ubuntu 18.04

Simple copy and paste the the A01 AUTHENTICATE ... command to telnet, A01 OK AUTHENTICATE completed.

This wasted my whole day!

"The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure"

Hi,

Whilst trying to execute your script I get the following:

Connect to Office 365 IMAP Service.
Ran into an exception while negotating SSL connection. Exiting.
Exception calling "AuthenticateAsClient" with "4" argument(s): "The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure."

Would be grateful to receive any pointers as to how to resolve.

username vs userName

Hi,

On line 130 of Get-IMAPAccessToken.ps1, should it be 'userName' instead of 'username' ?

Include timestamp

Can you add timestamps to your console outputs? This would help debugging when customers open support tickets.
