A National Hockey League (NHL) é a liga de hóquei no gelo, que abriga os times dos Estados Unidos e do Canadá. São 31 equipes divididas em quatro divisões e duas conferências. Cada equipe disputa 82 partidas na temporada regular. As oito melhores equipes de cada conferência avançam para os playoffs, onde os vencedores de cada conferência decidem a Stanley Cup. O objetivo desse projeto é analisar os dados da National Hockey League (NHL) que abrange as temporadas de 2010-2011 ate 2018-2019. Com o intuito de gerar insights e encontrar soluções de Inteligência Artificial. Comparado com outros esportes, as estatísticas avançadas no Hockey ainda são "infantis" onde os melhores modelos só podem prever o vencedor 62% das vezes devido a variações no talento dos jogadores e na "sorte do disco".
