Is this affecting just the widget, or also if you start and use the application 
normally?

Thank you for your lightning reply.

No, it affects the app altogether. I cannot open the app and I cannot click on 
any widget items. It keeps force-closing. Sad but true, nothing works on my 
phone. Any clues?

Can you try the following:
 - uninstall the application
 - install version 0.6.2 from http://code.google.com/p/sparserss/downloads/detail?name=SparseRSS_0.6.2.apk&can=2&q=#makechanges
 - export opml file
 - uninstall the application
 - delete the file /sparserss/sparserss.db from your sd card
 - reinstall version 0.7pre
 - import the opml file
?

Yes, I am waiting for the opml import to finish. At least, it is not 
force-closing now. The icons pop up in front of each feed too. I like it very 
much ^^ However, some feeds do not have any icons in front of them.

Once the import is done, I try to add widget and it forces closing. It happens 
when I try to access to app too.

I'm rebooting my phone now and I'll let you know ASAP ^^

Sadly to say that a force closing comes back as severely as before. Neither 
widget nor app can be accessed.

At which status exactly crashed the widget? Directly after adding, or after you 
tab on a news item?

Well, it is at the very start when I try to add. I cannot even add the widget. 
It force closes as soon as I tab on Spare RSS icon.

I think I found the bug.

It is sad to say that neither Pre2 nor 3 worked for me. I tried them several 
times for you but none of them worked out properly. It either crashed after 
adding widget or upon launching the app itself. Neither app nor widget 
responded.

Pre3 is even worse because it forces closing upon reboot. I'm afraid say that I 
won't be available for testing for the next couple of days.
