The SDK breaks project load/build in Visual Studio 2019 version 16.6.0

After the recent update of Visual Studio 2019 to version 16.6.0 this SDK breaks project loading and building in Visual Studio.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new .NET Framework console application.
2. Close the solution.
3. Add the SDK line to the project file.
4. Open the solution.
5. Visual Studio shows an yellow error bar.
6. Try to build. There is either no option at all to build the project, or the project will be skipped in the build.
