nuxt-starter-varia's Introduction

Ope, hey there

I'm Dave Berning, a software engineer and adjunct professor from Cincinnati. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati, where I learned to create interactive websites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Currently, I'm a Senior Front-End Engineer at WDTech (Walker & Dunlop).

nuxt-starter-varia's Issues

Separating boilerplate from starter

I think having examples of how the TypeScript can be used (components and store) is great. But the problem comes when instantiating a new project - need to remove all the defaults.

I think it would be better to have a completely empty starter and then a separate repo with the example implementation.

What do you think?

Shall we use typescript-eslint-parser?

Right now the project uses babel-eslint in .eslintrc.js, but it seems to not work correctly inside components. TypeScript syntax is marked as invalid.

Replacing with typescript-eslint-parser seems to solve the problem.

But I am kinda vague on how all of this linting works, especially with TS.

tsx support?

Could you please support tsx? I got this error with tsx. Of course i declared like <script lang="tsx">

README mentions that the project includes Bootstrap and SCSS

But I don't see it included?

On the other hand, I am an avid user of Bootstrap, but I am not 100% certain that it should be included by default. Unless you want to have a totally opinionated starter mostly for your projects.

If you decide to include Bootstrap by default - let me know, and I can create a PR for that.
