Automate conversion of multiple SASS to LESS

Hello! I'm very new to Node, so I'm a little confused as to how to achieve a SASS to LESS conversion with multiple files (will need to import them as reference). Specifically, I need to convert some Bootstrap scss to less, in the fastest / most automated way possible:

bootstrap/_variables.scss
bootstrap/_grid.scss 
bootstrap/mixins/_grid-framework.scss
bootstrap/mixins/_grid.scss

Ideally, the conversion would run on npm install / start.
Could you maybe provide a detailed example for this kind of scenario? Thanks!
