Docstring in channel.clj refers to unbuffered channels

The docstring in channel.clj refers to unbuffered channels, which are no longer used.

Find ways to reduce global mutable state

There are ~75 references to state atoms in the code, and most of them refer to the global controls map. There must be a way to compose this state.

Program crash after 20-30 minutes' usage on running server

The controller works but after about 20 to 30 minutes it will lock up and I have to control alt delete to restart it. I do have java 7 and it does work..I'm just can't figure out why it locks up. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Find other ways to pass UI elements around

Should the mode-choice function be refactored by passing a view map like:
{:pane
:add-button [<button to add 1> <button to add 2>]
:remove-button [<button to remove 1> <button to remove 2>]} ??

Is the watch-function approach better, i.e. should mode-choice do anything other than set some atoms?

Use bean function to retrieve Java object field values

Use #(:field-name (bean %)) to retrieve Java object field values instead of .field throughout the program.

Mission quantifier needs brackets

The mission matcher in channel.clj doesn't use a capturing group. No bug observed as yet but it's definitely wrong.

Refactor button visibility code from event.mission/mode-choice

This code should be refactored to be similar to the button enablement state event management in event.main/update-ui -> jfx.ui/set-button-state.
