Get the angle between the normale to the surface and the z axis. Then when angle is lower than 90°-65.3° = 24.7°, it is not the residual imprint from a Berkovich tip for example.

Hi David,
I am using Sphero conical indenter but when I chose indenter as Conical in GUI it generates python code but gives an error in Abaqus, sees be; low image. Could you please have a look at it.
Could you please also let me know how to define indentation depth as by default it goes -200nm Deep in the surface.
I am using 10um Sphero conical indenter, could you please let how can I put the radius in GUI.

Dear David,
I try to run the code that I have downloaded on 05.06.2020 on a MATLAB version R2019b.
But it does not work (I see glimpses of the H and E map but then they disappear).
I have used your code on the same MATLAB version before with no issues.
Could it be the new downloaded TriDiMap version?
Best regards,

Constant k not used for Mencik reciprocal exponential model ==> It gives absurd results when constant k is applied to calculations... (check when Ef > Es).
Need to define hardness substrate and hardness values for thin films... into the GUI
... and add Kao's model into the GUI (only in the repo right now)...
Hi David,
I have noticed in tutorials/examples included in NIMS is that it does not return layer thickness what we put in MATLAB GUI e.g If put t1=200nm , t0=1500 and rest is the substrate and generates python script. When I visualize results in Abaqus it appears that film thickness are changed. Could you please have a look at it. I have tried to replace T0 and T1 but it does help. Please see below Images.
Kind Regards,
