This is a map of modeled wildfire-driven smoke pollution, by county, from 2006 through 2020. It displays each county's maximum particulate matter measurement in a given month, using data compiled by Marissa L. Childs et al.

This was created primarily using React and Mapbox API for all the visuals, Python to do the data processing, and hosted on Vercel.

Add a UI thing to tab through key months

Find five or six months with significant events, add a little thing above or below the timeline that tabs through them. They should have a name, associated month, and maybe a location to zoom to.
