foreign's Issues

Common foreign words should not be italicized

According to Sections 7.52 and 7.53 of Chicago Manual of Style (16th edition), common foreign words should not be italicized. As a definition: if a word is in Webster's, it should not be italicized.

Also, "Chicago italicizes abbreviations only if they stand for a term that would be italicized if spelled out" [Section 10.7], i.e. common Latin abbreviations should be set in roman (as per the above definition).
