DDD East Midlands is celebrating all of the East Midlands tech scene and we would love to hear from more of the major cities in the East Mids.

I used docker to run the site to avoid version conflicts with other projects I have.

I'm happy to raise a PR for the docker compose file I've used and update the README with instructions for running locally

I understand not everyone wants to use docker so it can be an optional build environment if you feel it might help contributors.
A guide on how to raise a pull request and how to write up your blog post for the DDD East Midlands website.
This could include snippets, markdown cheatsheets and guidance on how to raise a PR
We want to encourage others to contribute, and this will help lower the barrier to entry. We can link to this post on the readme and contribution guidelines as well
I would love to have this post as part of the How To Talk Really, Really Good series, but from someone who lives and breathes accessibility.
What accessibility concerns should someone consider when creating their slides? How can we make sure our slides are readable and accessible?
It's something that helps speakers improve their slides and improve the experience of some attendees.
