Hello!

I'm a Portland, Oregon-based Software engineer. A gopher by way of .NET. My bread and butter is writing Angular apps for various clients with golang services and MariaDB / Postgres databases. I have two Angular libraries in the npm (angular-input-focus and angular-validation-summary). I write infrequent blog posts about writing software (I try to go for quality over quantity). I'm currently working for Sembit.

Get auth working

Currently just a shim.

Allow account creation

Sign-up process. Probably need ToS as well.

Allow shared projects

Would be nice to allow shared projects.

Refactor auth to be more sophisticated

Should middleware populate context for the handlers? Right now every handler has to parse JWT token itself. Very not-ideal.

Make sure app pays attention to PORT env variable

For Google Cloud Run deploy

Get application deployed to toiler.io

Probably will initially deploy to Google Cloud Run.

Add catch-all route

So that when you navigate to app/some-preact-route the API serves up index.html and allows preact router to handle the rest.

Ensure email is case-insensitive and unique

Set up file handler in API to serve static content

Show messages to user

Right now if you log in for example and there's an error, nothing happens. Expose some errors to user.

Refactor to use a more sophisticated router

At some point, will probably want to use something other than stdlib. Probably julienschmidt/httprouter.

Allow creation of projects

So that not all tasks appear on one master list

Enable 2FA

This is a large project, and has several implications. However, at some point it would be nice to enable 2FA for increased security.
