automate Captcha recognition

I am looking for a suitable way for automating the Captcha Recognition.

Things I have already tried:
I have tried using pytesseract but it didn't work. I had pre-processed the captcha image before passing it onto pytesseract.

Possible solution:
Using Deep Learning is one of the possible solutions but I am looking for something other that Deep Learning.

I you have any solution feel free to suggest.
