discam's Issues

Universal .py File DOES NOT WORK

Universal File (Discam Universal) Does not work because of the path in the commands specify C:\Discam (v1) OR C:\Users[USER]\Pictures\Discam (pre-1.1)
On Linux Nor Mac OS

Feature Error: The .deb Installation App Does Not Feature Facial Detection Feature

The .deb installer of DisCam v1.1 Failed To Start Facial Detection & Capture The Image.

How?

When The F Key Is Pressed:

• (on python & Windows versions) prints "Facial Detection Enabled" and starts detection of faces and automatically takes pictures within 3 Secon Intervals
• (on linux .deb version) Closes The App

Fix

This Will Probably Be Fixed In Version 1.2

Python Version: 3.11
.deb Package Support: Yes (In-Built)
Cinnamon Version: 5.8.4
Camera: Integrated (Works)

Linux Error : tkinter or tk?

When i Tried To Install Tkinter In My Linux Terminal
It Shows module 'tkinter' not found
When I Searched In Google For Any Other Solutions It Showed
Install tk so i did pip install tk.
Well, It Installed BUT..
the code where is import tkinter as tk
is not recognised as module tkinter rather tk so i did what anyone would do and changed "tkinter" to "tk"
so but next line error and fix not working.

Fix Required/Solution Required.

Discam v1.1 on Zorin OS Lite
With Python 3.8.10 On Linux
