Causes extension host to crash and enter a reconnection loop

Issue Type: Bug

To reproduce

1. Create a vue-html snippet & save it
2. Open devtools so you can see the appropriate logs
3. Verify that you can trigger snippets that are "registered" to work outside the template area. A good example, assuming you have the Vue VS code snippets extension, is "vbase"
4. Now, write down your trigger string somewhere in the template area and press CTRL + SPACEBAR to trigger suggestions (assuming that's how you've got your editor setup)
5. Inside the dev tools, you can see that the extension host crashes and enters into a reconnection loop

Only way to narrow down this extension as the culprit, the extension bisecter was essential.

• Create a vue component using TypeScript and the composition API
• Try to use a function that has not yet been imported
• Press ctrl+space or save the file
• The tooltip says 'Loading' forever and VSCode waits forever on save actions.
