hsk00's Issues

Failed to create file.

Hi!
I've got EMX-041. I can't change files structure - can't delete and copy new files.
My micro sd card id 32GB and it's FAT32 formatted.
Files on the microsd card are not 'read only'.
Is there any way to make this work?

Save-state feature

Hey, I have bought Data Frog Y2 from some guy and it doesn't have the save state feature, I figured what I bought was an inferior version so I decided to upgrade the SD card to 2GB from 128MB and search the internet for the superior SD card's files to upgrade mine. Can anyone help me get those files, I would love to do some more tests on this thing. Thank you in advance.

The game tittles is getting dupiclate

When I add ROMs and click in Save changes, after in the list the game duplicates.
In the tv with the stick connected, the list shows the game is duplicated.

I used a U-BOX EMX-041

Also, some games are corrupted after the process, as lode runner, burger time...

game category

using Y2HD game stick , i am not able to create new game category like :- Unsorted Games

Nes games Not working

Hi
I request your help to restore my HD game box. let me explain the problem

I have Extreme HD Game Box with exactly same 6 option as listed in your post. Action game, Shooting game, sports game etc.
But i remember once I loaded the SD card, whcih came with my HDMI stick, in my PC, the folder structure was not like Game00, Game01 etc. Rather it had all the .nes games loaded on the root of the SD card and not other type of file. just all .nes files.
I copied them all on my PC in case some day SD card corrupts.

Unfortunately the day came and the cheap 128MB sd card got corrupt.
So, I took another SD card (sandisk 32Gb)and pasted the .nes games as it is into it and inserted it back into the HDMI stick.

Now the menu with 6 options (Action game, Shooting game, sports game etc.) loads.
I am able to get into any of the menu, the list of the games also shows up but when i select the game it doesn't load.
It says loading on blue flashing screen and then it returns back to the menu.

Need your help to please help me rebuild the SD card. not sure if this HDMI stick has different kind of setup or need some other way the .nes games are presented to it.

I tried creating Game00 etc folder and loading games into the folder with help of hsk00 software but none is getting read or playing.
Also to mention that if I plugin HDMI stick without SD card it loads one game (Contra Force) by default and i m able to play it.
No Menu etc load without SD card.
May be that game is loaded in the root of the OS.

It would be very kind if you know or can help to restore/setup the SD card.

ubuntu gui not work

Hey,
When I try to start LinuxGUI on Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS I have get blank black window
Снимок экрана от 2021-11-01 21-54-50

failed to parse hsk00 content: expected items per line are 5, but got 1

Got an error when try to view files in game category 2 on my device. (As I see it is on 200 line of common.go file)
Reason is that Hsk00.lst in my device have double CR-LF pair on the end. Issue can be fixed by deleting or skipping empty strings when parsing GameItemList. I have no error if manually descramble hsk00.asd, remove empty line in the end of Hsk00.lst by hands in notepad, and scramble-zip it back.
After this hsk00-windows-cli works correct with my device.

Ability to save pictures as RAW (Y3 Mini game stick)

Hi!

I have Data Frog Y3 mini game stick.
Full data from SD card can be found here - https://disk.yandex.ru/d/Ro5pheZ8heWJwg

There are a lot of familiar *.asd files stored on SD disk.

I used your tool to unpack them. Archives with names like Refcenk004.asd contain files BigYYYY.raw and SmallYYYY.raw.
SmallYYYY.raw is a little preview picture (listed in game stick UI) for particular game, BigYYYY.raw is a big picture with game logo.

I used IrfanView to open these *.raw files. And I was able to open them with following settings: 16 bpp (2 bytes per pixel, RGB 5:6:5), no file header.
BigYYYY.raw is 256x256 pixels, and SmallYYYY.raw is 124x124.

So, we can unpack *asd and open *.raw. The last step is to save my own pictures in exactly the same raw format.

I don't know how to do it. IrfanView can't save raw in 16 bpp. Google didn't help much.
