mini-metrai

mini-metrai is an artificial intelligence player for Mini Metro written in Kotlin. Using computer vision to identify the current game state, mini-metrai will decide and execute the best strategy with heuristics.

1. Reconstruct game state in an appropriate model
   • Identify and categorize stations
   • Identify passengers waiting at stations
   • Identify station waiting timer
   • Identify running trains, special trains, carriages
   • Identify passengers in vehicles
   • Identify inventory (available normal trains, special trains, tunnels/bridges)
   • Identify placed lines
   • Identify unused lines
   • Identify current time/day of the week
   • Identify number of passengers that have been transported
2. Decide upon strategy
   • Decide which choices should be made
   • Decide changes within metro network
3. Record results for analyzation and improvement

Analyzer should be able to identify placed trains, carriages, and special trains

The analyzer should be able to recognize stations and should be able to create the correct model.

First test should be flattened in order to test new features properly

When developing new features, it would be nice to receive gradual feedback on the correctness of solutions. The test should be modularized in order to see changes.

Analyzer should be able to identify the correct datetime

This will require a change to the model, as there are configurations of the game screen in which the datetime is not visible. However, the GameState model requires the field to be non-null.
