lumina's Issues

End the program

I've tried mightily to 'End the program', 'Close the program', 'Exit the program' and all I'm doing is burning up API costs. It either misinterprets 'end' as 'and'. or it accepts the various commands as an API request and either generates an API error or returns some sort of goofy image. Is there an alternate way of stopping the program other than cycling power to the RP? I can use a ctrl-C if I'm connected headless or w/keyboard, but I will try to use this unconnected if possible.

You requested the following image: Close the program

Update: I experimented with the python code:

  1. Extended the silence timeout to 1.2 seconds
  2. Added "Quit the program"

I can now use "Quit the program" to quit the program. I've tried to do something about the marbles in my mouth for years to no avail.

API error

Hello, I have followed your instructions with an RPI4B+ 8GB. Lumina starts just fine, I think, after everything installs without any errors. It detects me when I say Lumina and it flashes what I say up on the screen, then it says API error, try again later. I am attaching a video for you to see. I have confirmed the openai api is correct and regenerated it, neither works. The picovoice secure key seems to be working fine. Any suggestions?

Lumina enclosure top

I may not know what's going on, but I'm finding a potential issue with the .stl for the enclosure top.

Notes

  1. In the slicer layer view I see an odd cross section with the Lumina logo in the middle of the slice view
  2. I opened the top .stl in Meshmixer and am seeing what appear to be 2 top models stacked on top of each other
  3. One shell has what appears to be the Lumina logo, the other doesn't
  4. I separated the shells and exported each individually
  5. When I look at the slicer layers for each split shell one has the Lumina logo, the other doesn't
  6. I'm thinking that maybe one of the shells was not removed when the shell with logo was exported, but I'm not the expert here

API error

Issue resolved. I had to wait a few hours apparently.

I can get Lumina all the way to the Logo, then it says API error after requesting the image. I have good keys as far as I know. Has anyone had this issue?

Edit:

I should add that I have prepaid as per a previous issues instructions.

Enable Italian language recognition to generate images

Beautiful software! I've tried it and it's wonderful, which is why I want to use it in my native language: Italian. Could you please tell me how to integrate the Italian language, so that when I say the phrase, it's correctly understood? Unfortunately, currently when I say the phrase in Italian, it's not well understood and the desired image doesn't appear.
Thank you very much!

use own photo's in any style

Hi,

it would be great if we could add camera support and then let the life photo be transformed to a style like:
rembrant style
simpsons style
salvador dali style
balck white colour style.

Lumina, take a photo and make it simpsons style for example.

what do you think?

picovoice failure

Hello. I've set up my new Raspberry Pi 4 twice, with two different SD cards (8 GB, 32 GB both new), and two different sizes of OS (regular and full size, legacy 64-bit). I get the same error on both, on the first try:

pi@raspberrypi:/Lumina $ python3 Lumina.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/pi/Lumina/Lumina.py", line 411, in
o = create(
File "/home/pi/.local/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pvleopard/_factory.py", line 44, in create

Any ideas? (I was once a pretty good C programmer, but had a stroke a few years ago. I say this, because it could be something not so bright.) This is a pretty magic project, by the way, so many thanks!

Python change

I was wondering if you had any interest in making a port for another hardware platform. I would like to adapt the python code so that the project would work on a NanoPi R6S. Not a lot of projects available for the platform so I thought I might contribute. Let me know if interested. Thanks.

API ERROR

I keep getting an API error - I've tried multiple keys but nothing is working.

Any ideas to fix this?

Thank you!

Run Error

I get the following when I run the program from the terminal window. Any thoughts?
