devtips-starter-kit's Issues

mixin nav > ul > li > a

I wonder would it be possible to write a mixin that takes the hassle out of turning a list into a menu with links in it. I do this on every projects because every project has a menu.

Theme

Hi Travis. The new Jekyll theme is minima, so my question is will there be any complications with the starter-kit that you provided with the new theme. This idea of themes is really confusing and I would like it if someone would explain to me as I am new to jekyll.

function.js file not compiling.

well, I 'm folllowing the video series on youtube by Travis on design and code my personal website in 12 hours but i am facing a error that my function.js file is not compiling. i wrote the exact code as travis did still my javascript is not compiling. please help. Do i need to include it somewhere or do i need to import it or whether there is some other problem.

Favicon is broken

The favicon is in the root dir, although it is being imported from assets/img, where it doesn't exist.

Problem with compile sass

Hello everyone!
Today I try use this starter kit and I have a problem with compile sass files.
When I try do this, using gulp start/build or sass then I have error from Plumber:

Error in plugin 'gulp-pleeease'
Message: Path must be a string. Received undefined
Details:
fileName: and here is path to source/sass/main.css (Why .css, should be sass)

Someone know what is wrong?

not an issue

is there a way you generated the

folder structure? I'd like to be able to generate that to use in documenting my projects.

Main.css incomplete

I use this theme and i love it, but out of the box the "main.css" file doesn't receive the new styles i wrote in the modules. I fixed my problem by renaming "main.css" to "reset.scss", and imported it in the top of "main.sass" . Now all the style files end up in the final "main.css" referenced in the head of index.html

Thank you!
