Using without root

Can I use this module without root? With magisk the module tab is not active when my phone is not rooted.
Is there other way (maybe via recovery mode or on Xiaomi phones with the fastboot mode) to inject this code into my system?
I tried on Android 13 (Evolution X 7.5 ROM) with the latest magisk.

Ask before saving the recording

First of all, thanks for this wonderful software. I'm able to record my office calls on Android 10 which was not possible earlier.

I have one request. Can you please add an option to ask whether to save the recording or delete it despite the call duration.

It asks when the call is of 0 seconds but it still records calls of 1 second.

If you can update this, it will be really helpful

Hello, if im switching from cooding wav to ogg, the name format ist still on wav. The file is really large.

Unable to initialize call recorder

Whenever i open the app, call recorder works 2-3 days. Then it just stops, and then every time i call, i get a Toast "Unable to initialize call recorder" (Dont know exactly the Toast message, but i read something like that). Again if i open the app, it starts working again. Settings of this app is default (Battery optimization is disabled and i tried switching recording calls to "System Default" but still stops working after sometime).

ROM : Pixel Experience (Android 11)
Rooted Device

Fix this problem app after every reboot,app is closed and recording eror 0000 loading animation and add auto start after boot complete.

Feature Request : Possibility of Low Profile Notification?

Like how the Poweramp Equalizer has an option to remain in the Notifications panel while not displaying a whole notification thus preserving some Space for the Status bar icons yet still works fine.

Hi Axet,
I have problems with the call recording app (root)...

Im using the Xiaomi mi 11 pro, with root.
Android 13 Google security patch 5 Februari 2023.

My callrecording app; doesnt record sound anymore. I hear only a blip/crack sound and that is only thing what I hear.
I want that you debugg this issue with me.. Because before the security update everthing was working fine without any problems.

I installed the module from Github. I use only this module as root, no other modules being installed.
removed and reinstalled the module and started again and still not working..

If I wanna share a audio clip, it doesnt record anything, because there are no wave spikes, sounds. It something happend in the security patch of Android/Google.

Can you help me with this?

No autostart on Android 11

On Mi 11 (Android 11 MIUI 12.5) the app works after starting manually, but displays a warning "the app never received the BOOT event". And there's no "allow autostart" setting for this app. Could it be that some permission is missing in the manifest (either app or priv)?

Start on boot pixel 6

Hi, on my pixel 6 root with magisk 24102, your app doesnt start au boot.
If you dont start it manually your phone call isnt recorde, anything we can do?

move to magisk-modules-alt repo

would make it available through fox's magisk module manager, since official modules repo is discontinued and deprecated, and removed from the app

Axet Call Recorder isn't working on crDroid Rom

This is the only error that appears in my logcat:
BroadcastQueue: Permission Denial: receiving Intent { act=android.intent.action.PHONE_STATE flg=0x1000010 (has extras) } to ProcessRecord{685cbd 16154:com.github.axet.callrecorder/u0a319} (pid=16154, uid=10319) requires android.permission.READ_PRIVILEGED_PHONE_STATE due to sender android (uid 1000)
Any clues? Thank you.
