Description

OpenStack is a tool made to assist on creating scalable virtual clouds [1].

For the Ubuntu OS, OpenStack has 3 different versions [2]:

• Single-node OpenStack (MicroStack)
  • A version made to give the ability of installing an OpenStack cloud in a single-node environment.
• Multi-node OpenStack (MicroStack)
  • The same version with the Single-node OpenStack but in a version that is able to be installed in a Multi-node Environment.
• Large-scale OpenStack (OpenStack Charms)
  • This version is used in Data Centers that a product is deployed on,

In this repository, a documentation is given regarding the way in which MicroStack has been installed in the environment of the platform DIASTEMA [3].

OpenStack - HTTP BODY limit

Τα HTTP Body που μπαίνουν εντός του cloud περιορίζονται. Στην περίπτωση που είναι υπερβολικά μεγάλα το cloud τα κόβει.

• Εύρεση τρόπου μεγέθυνσης των εισαγόμενων HTTP Body

OpenStack cloud maintenance

Diastema PC needs a reboot in order to have the ability to use the OpenStack Horizon Dashboard again due to the MicroStack bug.
The OpenStack cloud needs new FireWall Settings based on the possible new services that are going to be deployed.

Tasks Done:

• Reboot
• Cluster Spin up
• Firewall Settings Update
• OpenStack Secutiry Rules update
• Spark reConfiguration

This issue is linked with all the other issues of this project.
