I need help

Hello bruh, I am small student I saw ur blog and sadly couldn’t understand anything. I downloaded all the files from GitHub and added my APPID and hosted it using ngrok and xampp but still. how should I be a broadcaster please explain….. I cant understand,please help me so that I could learn

Unable to select camera/microphone to use when accessing broadcast page

Thank you very much for the super detailed guide! It has been extremely helpful in getting me to understand how to use Agora better.

I downloaded your depository and followed the steps including changing my appID and channelName in both broadcaster and audience JS files, and also added my own code to the generateToken() section to dynamically fetch an authentication token (I am v sure this isn't the issue as this code works fine and it is nothing more than a fetch and parse to an external server).

My issue is when I access agora-broadcast-client.html I do not get any prompt to allow access to camera/microphone, and when I click the drop down buttons they are blank as below

I am currently using XAMPP and running through ngrok. I have tried multiple browsers and also updating the Agora SDK js library to the latest version but none of these seem to have any help.

Is there anything I might be missing here? I'm pretty sure it's likely some minor stupidity on my part as I am not very well-versed in coding in js. Any helps you could give would be much appreciated!

EDIT: Was being an idiot seems the camera only shows up if the channelName is set to one currently registered on your agora app.

Screen Share option

It will be really good if you can you can enable the screen share sharing feature.

How to pass stream key while trying to push live stream using Youtube ?

There is no option to pass the stream key while starting the livestream.

No stream detected on the FaceBook side

Thanks for your great demo sample!
I've updated my AgoraAppId key, and I try to stream to FaceBook RTMPS, but there is no bug in the JS console and FaceBook doesn't receive anything.

I've tried with or without publishing before (url set to empty, current url, and facebook RTMPS url).
Could you please confirm me this still working on your side ?
