context-keeper-chrome-ext's Issues

Interest mode: better approach to marking items interested/not interested

Two approaches at the moment, neither is ideal.

Approach 1)
Add context menus for page+link+media contexts, interested and not interested for each, resulting in 6 menu items. This is not ideal as you have to go to a submenu to mark something.
NB:

  • We could possible reduce to two items that handle all context types ("media", "link", "page"), but we still have to deal with submenus

Approach 2)
Chrome doesn't seem to allow hotkeys for context menus. They provide "commands" for general hotkeys.
We bind a hotkey to toggle the state of whether an item should be marked interested or note, putting the extension in a given "mode". Context menu is reduced to one item that will mark based on the current mode.
NB:

  • Currently only implemented for the "link" context
