Questions for the chapter4 Istanbul data

Hi,
I am studying chapter4 and have two questions.

  1. The meaning of levels_to traverse

It looks like the same operation is repeated for the number of levels_to_traverse in the code.
There seems to be no explanation about the traverse.
Would you tell me why we need to specify levels_to_traverse ?

  1. Mistakes in the code?
  • The line below are needed? It seems that sum_points are not used in other parts.

Question regarding Flickr code

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about lines 39-45 in your Flickr code; specifically I can't see how the token credentials in line 43 are being used by the GET/sprintf functions. Sorry, I'm still trying to figure things out.
