Python 3 and 2.6 compatibility

Shouldn't be hard. Just use six for a few things, make sure to explicitly number positional args to format, etc.

when i use import vlfeat
use vlfeat.dsift(img)
i get a problem : AttributeError: 'Image' object has no attribute 'dtype' form
