Support new plot types

Useful additions would be contour plots and imshow plots.

Add test suite with code coverage

I've been playing around with py-coverage and it seems to be a very useful tool. Perhaps use it in conjunction with some nose tests that compare images by hashing them.

Elaborate image comparison is unnecessary because the folks at matplotlib/matplotlib are already doing this. The hash would just be to check that command line args don't clash with each other, for example.

Automate man page generation from docstring

At present, the man page is updated manually. To streamline the documentation process, perhaps only update the docopt docstring and run a script to generate the man page.

Automate install process

At present, the user installs the executable and the man page manually. It would be more convenient for the user to run an install script. Python distutils would be a good idea, or even a bespoke install script.
