Hello there! My name is Dennis McMeekan. 👋

I recently achieved my Master's degree in Computer Science, which was completed in one year after achieving my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I enjoy learning new concepts and conquering obstacles each and every day, and we all must take it upon our selves to achieve something better!

💼 Work

I am currently a Software Engineer located out of Iowa. My current focus is maintaining mainframe products and systems while integrating modern tooling to adapt for the future.

🔭 School

I have completed two degrees, Master's and Bachelor's in Computer Science. I have taken courses focused on computer architecture, server-side development, databases, AI, and distributed systems. I also have a published thesis: Securing WebRTC .

💻 Current Projects

I have three projects currently in full-force:

• With a close colleague, Tim Mardesen, we have a half-way developed game, Lost In Peril using the game engine LibGDX.
• Also with, Tim Mardesen, a animal voting application intended for livestock shows is in the works.
• Beyond those two projects, I also update my portfolio and github quite frequently.
