In your Gemfile add: gem “sitebootstrapperv2”, :git => “git://github.com/martintechlabs/sitebootstraperv2”

Run bundle install

Run rake db:create

Run rake sitebootstrapperv2_engine:install:migrations

Run rake db:migrate

Add a default host to you application.rb
config.action_mailer.default_url_options = {:host => "localhost:3000"}

Remove public/index.html (If is a new app)

Run rails s and enjoy!!! The first user to register will become admin of the app.

This engine uses a layout called “sitebootstrapper” just to show some funcionality out of box. If you want to use this layout just change it in Application_Controller.
class ApplicationController < ActionController::Base layout "sitebootstrapper"

If you’d like to get a local copy of the views that sitebootstrapper uses, run: rails g sitebootstrapper:views

If you want to allow your users to sign up with facebook, twitter or google apps then set the app keys in config/initializers/devise.rb

If you want to allow your users to post to feed on facebook then set the constant FB_APP_ID to your FB app id in config/environments/production.rb: FB_APP_ID = ‘FB APP ID’

Check out the latest master to make sure the feature hasn’t been implemented or the bug hasn’t been fixed yet

Check out the issue tracker to make sure someone already hasn’t requested it and/or contributed it

Fork the project

Start a feature/bugfix branch

Commit and push until you are happy with your contribution

Make sure to add tests for it. This is important so I don’t break it in a future version unintentionally.

Please try not to mess with the Rakefile, version, or history. If you want to have your own version, or is otherwise necessary, that is fine, but please isolate to its own commit so I can cherry-pick around it.
