haproxy's Issues

Dockerfile request : Squid

I did not know where to request this, so I am putting this under haproxy's repo.

Squid is an amazing caching proxy and the most popular alternative to haproxy. It would be great to have a dockerfile for that.

haproxy 1.5

could you trigger a rebuild of the image so we get the latest haproxy?

thanks :)

Logging?

The instructions are explicit about using 127.0.0.1 for logging, but AFAIK, the rsyslogd daemon is not started within the container (if it's even installed). Am I missing something?

I am now leaning towards --linking this container towards a rsyslogd one, to use it as log target within the configuration. Anyone else had a similar approach?

Thanks!

docker build fails

Looks like the build is failing since 2014-10-21 22:31:46

It is caused by bumping the version of HAProxy from 1.5.3-1 to 1.5.6-1

image dockerfile/haproxy:latest not found

Image can't be found for some reason.

root@basickarl:~# docker pull dockerfile/haproxy
Pulling repository dockerfile/haproxy
FATA[0001] Error: image dockerfile/haproxy:latest not found

Adding certificates

What's the correct way to add certificates? Would it have to be along the line of haproxy.cfg and errors?

Image (on public registry) not working

Hello,

It seems the image hosted on the public registry is not working properly.
If i clone/build this repository and publish it on my private registry then it works.

You can verify this easily :
docker run -i -t --rm=true haproxy:1.5 /bin/bash

The entrypoint shell script /haproxy-start does not even exists.

Seems to me this image needs a rebuild.
Also you should remove references all to dockerfile/
-> FROM dockerfile/ubuntu should be FROM ubuntu

Regards,

Olivier
