Motive

• Home rabbit rearing project, need to log rabbit data to a permanent storage rather than books manually
• The keeper can keep track of who borrowed his rabbit (usually for mating purposes)
• Also keep track of the rabbits that he borrowed too
• Also add notes and other useful information

Making a standalone application

• Use pyinstaller to convert it to .exe . Check pyinstaller docs

$ pyinstaller rabbit_gui.py

• See sample demo GUI from the author by running demo.py
• Run rabbit_gui.py

WOW! so nice!

Most people don't do the smart thing you did.... put screenshots in the readme.

For a GUI program, it's a MUST in my opinion. I mean, you've built something that's visual so a picture is the way to go.

I should rework the date chooser window using a PySimpleGUI built-window instead of the tkinter based one that I integrated in long ago. I've seen some people build their own calendar right into the main window itself.
