awesome-aws's Issues

Possible blank template?

I think this awesome repo is very impressive. What you did with the Fiery Meter is absolutely amazing.

Is it possible for me to have a clean, "boiler plate" like, version of this repo so that I could use to create awesome lists of my own?

Order by stars?

Donne,

You rock. I hope everything is going super well for you. Also, in each category, I think you should order these repos by stars. Top having the most stars. Or maybe by commits. Some people are pouring thousands of hours into these projects. And I know you know what I'm talking about. You are crushing it right now with > 500 on SAWS ๐Ÿ‘

RoadMap

Hello there, I am a second year computer science student and I want to learn aws from scratch , where should i start?
thank you

This list is a graveyard

This list has extremely marginal utility. Projects that are not being actively maintained need to be removed from the list.

Notice: Maintainer Temporarily Unavailable

Hi Everyone,

I'll be temporarily unavailable starting April 17 and won't be able to respond to issues or pull requests. I'm hoping I'll be available in a couple of weeks, but I might not be responsive for several weeks.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Last Week in AWS newsletters

I've been curating https://lastweekinaws.com for a bit shy of two months. It's a weekly mailing list offering commentary, tips, and a news roundup of what's going on in the Amazon cloud ecosystem. So far it's gotten decent reviews, and subscriber numbers reflect that this is more than simply a "friends and family" endeavor; where in the guide would this belong?

Update Fiery Meter of AWSome scores automatically

We should be able to query GitHub for current star counts for each repo listed. If there's a discrepancy in score, update the score.

While doing this scan dead links could also be flagged or cleaned up.

Niche Guides

Along with the General Guides, it might be helpful to add a niche guide section, which is broken down by AWS service. Happy to issue a PR with some quality tutorials as an example.

Watch list

List of AWS resources that might be good additions to awesome-aws.

If you see anything here that you can vouch for, feel free to open up a pull request to start the discussion.

Surely this repo should be called aws-ome ? :)

Validate pull requests with Travis

Hello, I wrote a tool that can validate README links (valid URLs, not duplicate). It can be run when someone submits a pull request.
