dotCMS Example Plugins

plugin-seeds - The seed repo for dotCMS plugins and customizations.

This project contains many examples on how dotCMS plugins can customize and extend dotCMS. The plugins use dotCMS's OSGi capabilities to extend and override dotCMS in different ways.

These plugins all use gradle for building. In each sub directory, you can run ./gradlew jar which will build the plugin, which can then be uploaded into dotCMS.

plugin-seeds's Issues

PushPublish Listener - cannot compile

This seed plugin doesn't compile with the provided gradle file.

Classes such as com.dotcms.system.event.local.type.pushpublish.AddedToQueueEvent and anything in the system.event package are not present in dotCMS 4.1.1 jar file.

Compilation error as follows on Mac 10.12.6, Oracle Java 1.8.0_60

gradle jar leads to:

com.dotcms.pushpublish.listener/src/main/java/com/dotcms/pushpublish/listener/PushPublishStartSubscriber.java:8: error: cannot find symbol

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

Remove deprecated Code

The CMSFilter.addExclude(), removeExclude() methods are deprecated. Could they be removed from the plugin seeds to help clean all of them up.
